IC CHARACTERISTICS:
•CURRENT CANON POINT: Chapter 5, page 94, after crash-landing on Mars.
•PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: 5'11" with dark hair, black (very, very dark brown in good light) eyes, and a light olive complexion. Alexei is well-built with compact muscles and broad shoulders, and almost always has some kind of disdainful expression (it's just his resting bitch face).
•DEMEANOR: Often standoffish and blunt, Alexei's demeanour isn't one that generally invites company and easy conversation unless you're someone that he already likes. He puts up a front of being difficult to get close to and doesn't reveal much about himself until he thinks he can trust you.
•ABILITIES: Alexei is a normal human with excellent hand to hand combat skills within those set parameters (said to be the best fighter in the fleet), as well as having exceptional skills in marksmanship. He is bilingual - speaking both English and Russian - though his Russian accent remains almost entirely hidden unless he becomes excited about something.
While on the Barge he has strengthened his marksmanship and also taken up swordplay, as well as refining his hand to hand technique with skills learned from Vincent Valentine.
•MEDICAL INFORMATION: Dealing with his issues around trusting people has opened the door to anxiety problems and occasional panic attacks. He tends to just manage these without bothering people about them.
•CABIN INFORMATION: The door is very plain with nothing about it meant to draw particular attention. The interior was finally updated after a year on the Barge.
A sitting area on entry with the kitchen and dining space towards the back, beneath a loft that gives the illusion of more space without the need for additional rooms. On the loft is a spacious reading nook with a few bookcases and a comfortable seat that he doesn't need to sit up straight in, and a window to the outside with a projector and small sound system attached to provide different views/weatherscapes (given to him by Ethan). A second door beside the bathroom leads to a fairly simple bedroom that follows the same decoration themes, containing a double bed and dresser.
The colour scheme is 'dark' but in a way that is certainly more cosy than stark and plain. The walls are a bare, grey-brown brick and the floor is wooden, with a couple of rugs spread over it. And, perhaps most pointedly, a small framed picture of his family and anything he has received from others until now (his bass guitar, a fishing rod, a model space ship, other odds and ends) are displayed on shelves or set out somewhere, rather than being tucked away in a box.

•OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS: He doesn't like it if you call him 'Cain' these days. Don't talk shit about his mother, his upbringing, or his background. Don't try to pry into his past without consent. Alexei can be a bit volatile if his buttons are pushed and prefers people to approach on their own terms, not because they share mutual friends. •VIOLENCE: Sure. He won't hesitate to defend himself or lash out at someone if they are pissing him off. Alexei is a scrappy fighter who can and will use dirty tricks to get the upper hand. He's very adept at hand to hand combat.

•DEBATE: Sure but if he's decided a conversation is over, then generally it's over as far as he's concerned.
